Achievements
Sponsorship Scheme
- Managing a successful sponsorship scheme to support almost 350 children mainly in North East of Sri Lanka.
TECH
- Implementing a successful TECH project. Currently we are assisting 83 families in North and East of Sri Lanka.
- Installation of solar power units for 35 homes in North East of Sri Lanka
Building Projects
- Designed and constructed a study hall for Mahadeva Ashramin collaboration with Sri Kanagathurkai Amman Temple
Study Hall
- 52 children were not attending school regularly in Kera Tivu due to lack of transport. ACF-UK provided 21 bicycles to assist them.
- Five temporary classrooms were built to help the children in Siddhi Vinayaka Hindu College in Mannar. Up until that point the children were having their lessons under trees. A permanent building with classrooms and an Art gallery was also provided to the same school. – All these projects were funded by “True Volunteer Foundation” an organisation run by our younger generation in the UK.

- Rebuilding of Senthalir Children Home which was destroyed in the Tsunami. Designed and constructed a study hall for the girls at Mahadeva Ashram with the help of Kingston Institute of Tamil Culture (KITC) . Read more here.

Other
- Provided a three wheeler vehicle for Annai Illam in Mannar to transport their children to school and other places

- Provided bunk beds for children of Ahilandeswari Children Home in Vavunia. In the past children have died from snakebites, ACF-UK strongly believes every child should have a bed to protect them from this risk.
- Provided sanitary facilities and bunk beds to children homes in Cheddikulam, Mannar and Vavunia, in association with a group called "Second Generation".
